      Alyssa Desouza is a student at Hunter College, studying Political Science, Public Policy and Human Rights. During her tenure at Hunter, she has remained active on campus, maintaining roles in the Office of Residence Life, the Undergraduate Student Government and serving a Hunter College delegate to the CUNY University Student Senate, where she chairs the Legislative Affairs Committee, and serves as the only student representative to the CUNY Board of Trustees Committee on Academic Policy, Programs and Research. Alyssa has interned at The Legal Aid Society, Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton and Garrison LLP, and the New American Leaders Project. She has a keen interest in constitutional law, education policy and international relations, among other things.
