Silvia Cohn is a Senior Macaulay Honors student at Hunter College and will be graduating with a BA in Environmental Studies and a certificate in Public Policy. She is interested in doing nonprofit work that intersects with and informs environmental policy. Though she plans to start her career in New York, she has Italian in addition to American citizenship and would like to make her way to Europe for work as well as graduate school.

Roosevelt House, an integral part of Hunter College since 1943, reopened in 2010 as a public policy institute honoring the distinguished legacy of Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt. Its mission is three-fold: to educate students in public policy and human rights, to support faculty research, and to foster creative dialogue.
