The Roosevelt House Public Policy Institute and Hunter College Pre-Business Program are delighted to co-host a Brownbag seminar with Ann Kaplan of Circle Wealth Management and Circle Financial Group. Ms. Kaplan will be sharing invaluable insights about career progression and achieving financial independence at different stages of one’s life, through the context of her own illustrious career on Wall Street and beyond.

Ms. Kaplan was previously a General Partner and Managing Director at Goldman Sachs. A member of the Fixed Income Division for 23 years, she served as Head of the Municipal Bond Department, in addition to working in the Asset Management Division. Ms. Kaplan serves as a board member of the Goldman Sachs Bank USA and LearnVest, an online financial planning service for women.  She also serves on the boards of Columbia University, the Museum of Arts & Design, the Economic Club of New York and the American Red Cross in Greater New York.  She is a member of the Board of Overseers of the Columbia University School of Business, the Council on Foreign Relations, the Women’s Forum and the Committee of 200.  She was a former trustee and founder of the Center for Women’s Financial Independence at Smith College.
