Alix Gould-Werth is a researcher at Mathematica Policy Research whose primary research interest is social programs and policies designed to improve the economic circumstances of people with low incomes, including through examining employer-employee interactions. She has a special interest in Unemployment Insurance, Temporary Assistance to Needy Families, disability benefits, and reforms to the criminal justice system. She has a Ph.D. in Social Work and Sociology from the University of Michigan.
