      Christine Parascandola is a Senior at Hunter College and a member of the Jewish Foundation for Education of Women (JFEW) Eleanor Roosevelt Scholar Program. She will graduate in the Spring of 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Public Policy.

      Christine is passionate about animal welfare and wildlife conservation policy. Over the course of her college career, Christine has worked with domestic, exotic, and marine animals and has also worked for the Wildlife Conservation Society and the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.

      In the coming years, she plans on attending veterinary medical school to pursue her dream of becoming a wildlife conservation veterinarian and policymaker.
