About:

Jeffrey Reyes is a senior at Hunter College, graduating in the Fall of 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts in History and Public policy.

Jeffrey is particularly passionate about concepts of economic security and direct democracy. Over the course of his career at Hunter, Jeffrey has been active in the movement to make CUNY tuition free again, the campaign for 7k for adjuncts, and general campaigns to make CUNY more direct and transparent, like participatory budgeting and the push for a student/worker lead popular assembly/council.

In the coming years, Jeffrey hopes to become an educator to serve the city where he grew up. He hopes to also of becoming a more dedicated activist in the struggle for building equality and democracy.
