      Marianna al-Tabbaa is earning her master’s in Political Science at New York University. She has worked for nonprofit organizations since 2010 both inside and outside of Syria, mainly doing field research on Syrian refugees and host communities in Lebanon, Turkey, Iraq, and Jordan. She is passionate about working on the topics of civil war, social cohesion, and dictatorship.
