Nicholas Freudenberg is Distinguished Professor of Public Health at Hunter College and the City University of New York School of Public Health. He also serves as faculty director of the New York City Food Policy Center at Hunter College. His latest book is Lethal but Legal Corporations, Consumption and Protecting Public Health(Oxford University Press, 2014). His research focuses on the social determinants of chronic diseases and prevention strategies for reducing their burden.
