Professor Sevak’s research focuses on public policy and labor market outcomes for vulnerable populations including individuals with disabilities, older workers, and immigrants. Her research has been supported by the Social Security Administration, the U.S. Department of Education (National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research (NIDRR)), and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (National Institute on Disability, Independent Living, and Rehabilitation Research (NIDILRR)).
In addition to her appointment as an Associate Professor in the Economics Department at Hunter College, Professor Sevak is a Faculty Associate at Roosevelt House Institute for Public Policy at Hunter College.
