Tahra Jirari is a current senior at Hunter College graduating in May 2020 with a major in Political science as well as double minor in Public Policy and English. After Graduation she looks to continue her education in the form of a masters degree in Political Science, as well as working at a Political Consultant company.

Roosevelt House, an integral part of Hunter College since 1943, reopened in 2010 as a public policy institute honoring the distinguished legacy of Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt. Its mission is three-fold: to educate students in public policy and human rights, to support faculty research, and to foster creative dialogue.
