      Tom Hutton is a senior at the Macaulay Honors College at Hunter College studying political science, environmental studies, and public policy. As a student in the Public Policy Program, he wrote a capstone projects about climate change policy in the U.S. In addition to his studies he has served the nonprofit organization Generation Citizen for the past three years as the Hunter College Chapter Director, helping to provide supplemental civics education to high school and middle school students in NYC. He has also spent time as an intern at the Mayor’s Office of Research and Media Analysis. This past summer, he served as a research assistant for the CUNY Institute for Sustainable Cities, studying green house gas emissions in the New York City metropolitan area. He hopes to continue studying energy and the environment in the coming years.
