Following the recent protests and violence surrounding the removal of Confederate statues in the U.S., national and local news media invited Roosevelt House Director Harold Holzer to contribute to the discussion. Anchors and journalists from CNN and local FOX5 NY cite Holzer’s expertise in American Civil War History and issues related to the current reconsideration of how figures from the Civil War are memorialized.
