The results are in! Join us for the community roll-out of the Human Service Workforce Study, sponsored by the Human Services Council, Silberman School of Social Work, and the Touro College Graduate School of Social Work.

The Report, Business as Usual? A Wake-Up Call for The Human Services, reflects the experience of nearly 3,000 frontline NYC human services workers who assess how business principles and practices affect agency services, outcomes, and the social work mission. Hot off the press, Professors Mimi Abramovitz, DSW, and Jennifer Zelnick, Sc.D, highlight the important findings of their interesting, current, and highly relevant study.

Three panelists will present case studies based on their practice experience and recent doctoral research in child welfare, domestic violence, and substance abuse agencies. Their reports underscore how Abramovitz and Zelnick’s overall findings play out in specific human service settings. Panelists include Jocelyn Lewiskin, PhD, MSW LCSW; Deborah Mullin, PhD, MS, LMSW; and Rita Sanchez-Torres, PhD, MALS, MPHIL.

Be part of a dialogue with your colleagues to explore the impact of these findings for your agencies, professional practice, and clients and consider fresh approaches to improving human services.

***This event will take place at the Silberman School of Social Work, 2180 Third Ave. 10035***
