PROGRAM

Please join us at Roosevelt House for a timely discussion of the ramifications of anti-immigrant rhetoric, the contested status of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, and recent executive orders on border security, interior enforcement and a travel ban on nationals from six designated Muslim countries. Participating in the discussion will be Jojo Annobil, Executive Director, Immigrant Justice Corps (IJC); IJC Fellows Victor Cuevas, Danyeli Rodriguez Del Orbe, Lindsay Mullet and Dave Wilkins; and moderator Liz Robbins, immigration reporter, The New York Times.

Co-sponsoring the event is Immigrant Justice Corps (IJC), the country’s first and only immigration fellowship program. IJC expands access to counsel by working to increase the quantity of full-time immigration lawyers and to improve the quality of the immigration bar.

The discussion will cover a wide range of legal and political issues facing immigrants. We hope you will be able to participate in this important conversation.

This program is made possible through the generous support of
The Stepanski Family Trust.
