PROGRAM

Please join us as at Roosevelt House for a timely analysis of the early days of the new president’s administration. Jonathan Alter, the award-winning reporter and author of The Defining Moment: FDR’s Hundred Days and the Triumph of Hope and other books, will be in conversation with Harold Holzer, the Jonathan F. Fanton Director of Roosevelt House, about the policies and politics of incoming administrations, and what their first months in office reveal about what is to come.

Since 1996, Alter has been an analyst and contributing correspondent for NBC News and MSNBC, appearing on-air two or three times a week. After 28 years as a columnist and senior editor at Newsweek, where he wrote more than 50 cover stories, Alter is now a twice-monthly columnist for the Daily Beast. He is also the author of The Promise: President Obama, Year One and The Center Holds: Obama and His Enemies.

We hope you will be able to attend this special evening.
