Join us for a special look at “See How They Ran: Treasures from the New-York Historical Society” an exhibition that takes on presidential elections from 1860 to the present with a special focus on the four presidential campaigns of Franklin Delano Roosevelt and the changing media used by him and other candidates to attract votes. From posters, pins and bumper stickers to radio, television, and twitter, visitors will find familiar and innovative means of promotion by the many men – and growing number of women – seeking to be president. On display September 23-November 30, 2016, Monday-Saturday, 10:00am-4:00pm and during Roosevelt House events.
