Mission Statement:
The Roosevelt House Student Advisory Board is a student group working in conjunction with the staff to involve Hunter students in programs at the house. The board helps identify and organize events and initiatives geared towards students’ varied social justice and policy interests. The Advisory Board raises student awareness of the Roosevelt House and all it has to offer, while working to ensure the space and events are welcoming, fun, interesting, informative, timely, and thought-provoking.
Goals:
- Increase student awareness of Roosevelt House space and events
- Connect and serve as liaisons between Roosevelt House students and administration/staff in order to better serve students’ interests and needs
- Engage professors with programming
- Create student-run events with a social justice and inclusive framework and addressing timely topics
Advisory Board Members:
Outreach Committee: The outreach committee is responsible for gathering input from the student body. This committee produces outreach materials, creates and makes presentations to student groups, and solicits program ideas from the students.

Host Committee: The host committee is responsible for being the student representatives at evening programs at Roosevelt House and for planning and leading one program per semester for the entire student body.
