About:
Jason Sethiadi is a senior at the Macaulay Honors College at Hunter College, majoring in Biological Sciences. He is on the pre-medical track and aspires to attend medical school after graduation. Currently, Jason is a research intern in Dr. Robert Schwartz’s laboratory at Weill Cornell Medicine and has also been volunteering in the emergency department at Mount Sinai Hospital with the CARE Program since March 2022. Jason is also interested in public service, and in addition to minoring in Public Policy, he is a Kenan Scholar studying the homelessness crisis in New York City. His capstone work with the Kenan Scholars Program was the creation of the Xavier Mission Food Waste Initiative, which repurposed surplus produce into pre-packaged meals for community members. Outside the classroom, Jason loves to cook and has worked as a line cook at Citi Field for the past three years
