Thierno Diallo is a senior at Hunter College, majoring in Urban Studies with a concentration in Planning and Policy, minoring in Sociology, and pursuing a Public Policy Certificate at the Roosevelt House Public Policy Institute. He began his undergraduate studies at Guttman Community College, where he earned an Associate’s degree in Urban Studies and was honored with the Shawn Deposoir Urban Studies Award, presented to the major with the highest GPA. A Spring 2023 recipient of the Amadou Diallo Foundation (ADF) scholarship, Thierno immigrated to the United States from Guinea, West Africa, in 2019 and has since made his home in the Bronx, New York City.
