On Wednesday, November 21, 2018 Congressman Jerry Nadler spoke to Hunter College Students and guests about the new Democratic majority in the U. S. House of Representatives and his plans for the House Judiciary Committee once he assumed its chairmanship January 1.
More than 150 students and community guests attended the event.
Roosevelt House, an integral part of Hunter College since 1943, reopened in 2010 as a public policy institute honoring the distinguished legacy of Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt. Its mission is three-fold: to educate students in public policy and human rights, to support faculty research, and to foster creative dialogue.
