PROGRAM

In this inspiring memoir, I WILL SCREAM TO THE WORLD, Jaha Dukureh shares her deeply human story, detailing how she survived female genital mutilation (FGM) and child marriage, and how her experiences compelled her to fight for women’s rights in The Gambia and beyond. Through her work, Dukureh has become a global symbol of change admired by Hollywood and political leaders alike as she transformed her challenges into a global movement. The discussion will be lead by Taina Bien-Aimé, Executive Director of the Coalition Against Trafficking in Women and a founding member of Equality Now.
