      Adam is a physical scientist who has previously served as division chief for Climate Assessment and Services and program manager for the Regional Integrated Sciences and Assessments (RISA) at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). RISA was internationally recognized for its role in helping decision makers to manage weather and climate risks. Adam was the lead author on the report “Global Mean Sea Level Rise Scenarios for the US National Climate Assessment.” He also provided technical guidance and leadership on the Sea Level Rise Tool for Sandy Recovery, for which he and others received a Presidential GreenGov award as Climate Champion. Adam holds a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Geology and English Literature from Bucknell University and a Master of Science in Geology from the University of Vermont.
