Seminar leader: Dr. John McDonough
This seminar was designed to help faculty understand the new health care reform legislation for purposes of their research and teaching agendas. The seminar included faculty members from the fields of public health, nursing, social work, urban studies and more. In the fall of 2010, the seminar also focused on organizing a conference on December 3 at Roosevelt House on the “Affordable Care Act, Race, and the Future of Racial and Ethnic Health Disparities.”
