Roosevelt House was honored today with a visit from New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio. The Mayor joined the Hunter Urban Policy and Planning Chair, and Thomas Hunter Professor of Public Policy at Hunter College Joseph Viteritti for a terrific conversation in our auditorium in front of a live audience with additional attendees on zoom.

The two discussed topics ranging from FDR’s New Deal to New York City’s Universal Pre-K, making for an afternoon of history and policy.

Following the question and answer session Mayor de Blasio met with the Hunter College Rhodes Trust Scholar, Devashish Basnet.
